Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are hoping to persuade Roberto Firmino to quit Liverpool this summer and make a return to Germany.
The 28-year-old forward has been in excellent form for the Reds this season as Jurgen Klopp’s men have dominated all before them.
Liverpool presently sit 22 points clear of nearest rivals and defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the race for the title, and have advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup and round of 16 in the Champions League, as well as lifting the European Super Cup and Club World Cup this term.
However according to a national newspaper Bayern will attempt to prise the Brazil international away from Anfield this summer.
The German giants are ready to make vast changes to their squad this summer and have short-listed Firmino, who has scored 10 goals in all competitions this term, as one of their very top targets.
Should Bayern fancy their chances of signing the forward, it would cost them a fee of around £75m.
Firmino has scored 56 times for the Reds in 162 appearances, joined Liverpool in 2015 from German outfit Hoffenheim, where he made 140 appearances and scored 38 times.
