Andhra Pradesh: Two motorists hit by speeding bus, die

TIRUPATI: Two motorists were killed on the spot after they were knocked down by a speeding bus along the Bengaluru-Chennai highway near Chittoor on Tuesday.
According to local police, two contract labourers engaged in electrification works were on their way to their worksite when the bus hit their two-wheeler from behind, killing both the rider as well as the pillion rider on the spot, near KG Satram in Bangarupalyam mandal of Chittoor district on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Rajesh of Nagalampalle and Rajendra of Bangarupalyam.
Police have registered a case and shifted the bodies of the deceased for post-mortem. Bangarupalyam police said the case was being further investigated.
