Surf lifesavers have made an elderly man's wish come true by helping him dip his feet in the ocean in a random act of kindness.
Len Stevens, who 'just wanted to get his feet wet', was helped to the shore line by volunteer lifesavers at Kings Beach on the Sunshine Coast on Sunday.
The Caloundra Surf Life Saving Club shared a touching image of lifesaver Brian Dreves helping Mr Stevens into the water.
'Len Stevens just wanted to get his feet wet, so how could we not make it happen for him,' the photo was captioned.

Mr Dreves' daughter Eliza, who volunteers as the Vice Patrol Captain at the club, was there to watch the emotional moment.
She told Daily Mail Australia Mr Stevens' own daughters approached the volunteers and asked for help to grant the elderly man's wish.
'Len’s daughters came down and asked if we could facilitate their 96-year-old father getting down to the water's edge to get his feet wet. Of course we couldn’t say no to such a lovely man,' Ms Dreves said.
'My dad was the Volunteer Surf Lifesaver pictured helping him. He stood and chatted to Len for a good 30 minutes.'
The volunteers helped Mr Stevens to roll his walking frame into the waves and spent time talking to him and his daughters.
Ms Dreves said: 'It was the loveliest atmosphere. Len’s family were so so happy and Len had a big smile the whole time.'
She said she was thrilled with the overwhelming response the gesture had received online.
'I originally posted it as just a nice positive thing for our club’s social media channels and it went crazy from there. It shows that people love good news when we’re so often surrounded by bad news,' Ms Dreves said.
Facebook users were quick to praise this act of kindness.
'Thank you so much. What a wonderful thing to do. Thank you for caring and helping an old man feel the beautiful ocean on his feet,' one said.
'Good on the lifeguards for making his wish a reality. This would have meant a lot to him,' another wrote.
