Cloudy sky in the city

PUNE: Cloudy skies were seen in the city on Monday morning. Night temperature was reported to be 16.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature was around 29.1 degrees Celsius.

The day temperature was 2.1 degrees below normal whereas the night temperature was 5.4 degrees above normal.

According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky is expected to be cloudy and hazy till Tuesday in Pune. The day temperature to increase till 30 degrees Celsius and night temperature to be around 13 till February 16. The sky will remain clear after Tuesday.

According to IMD, across Maharashtra, the lowest minimum temperature reported was at 11.4 degree Celsius at Jalgaon.

NATIONAL SCENARIO
The lowest minimum temperature recorded over the plains was at 3 degrees Celsius at Amritsar in Punjab. 

According to IMD, a fresh Western Disturbance as a cyclonic circulation lies over Afghanistan and neighbourhood. It is very likely to cause scattered to fairly widespread rain and snow over Jammu and Kashmir and isolated rain/snow over Himachal Pradesh from February 11 to February 13 with maximum intensity on February 12 and significant reduction thereafter.
