Bumblebees are in danger too due to climate change

NEW YORK: Climate change has contributed to a sharp drop in bumblebee populations across North America and Europe, scientists said Friday.

Compared to the 1900-1974 period, bumblebee numbers dropped, on average, 46% during the first 15 years of the 21st century in Canada and US. In Europe, the decline was 17%, they reported.
