Snatching near Aarti Chowk
Amanjot Kaur of village Jodhan, who works at an eatery stated to police that on Sunday evening when she reached at Aarti Chowk to get a bus to Jodha, bike born two accused snatched her purse, containing Rs 2,000 in cash, mobile and some documents. Division number 5 police have lodged a complaint.
23 cartons of illicit liquor recovered
Meharban police have recovered 23 cartons of illicit liquor from village Garhi Fazil, while the accused Manjeet Singh of village Shekhewal, Jagga Singh, Gagandeep Singh of village Haidar and Gajjan Singh of Kadeyana Khurd managed to flee form there. A case has been registered against them.
