Inebriated man attacks wife, father

Allahabad: A man was arrested on Monday for attacking his father with a knife in an inebriated state in Aspur Devsara village of Pratapgarh.
According to police, Kunwar Singh alias Rajan Singh (40) returned home drunk late Sunday night and thrashed his wife following a tiff.
When his father, Amar Bahadur, opposed the act, Rajan attacked him with a knife.
“When I objected, Rajan attacked me with a knife. I sustained injuries on my waist, hand and back. When other family members rushed to my rescue Rajan fled the spot,” Amar Bahadur said in his complaint.
