Two arrested in angadia loot case

Rajkot: Two men who had allegedly robbed an angadia firm employee of Rs 1.60 lakh cash in Surendranagar on Saturday were nabbed on Monday.
The accused were identified as Ghanshyam Satapara and Pankaj Rajgor, both residents of Botad. Satapara and Rajgor had allegedly barged into Madhav Magan Angadia Firm in Dwarkesh Complex on Tower Main Road in Surendranagar. At that time the firm employee, identified as Arjan Rabari, was alone.
“The accused had allegedly hit Rabari on his head with a hammer and robbed him of Rs 1.60 lakh cash. However, the accused were caught on the CCTV camera of the firm, following which we launched a manhunt for them. Their hunt led us to Botad from where the duo was arrested,” said A H Gori, inspector with Surendranagar A division police station.
Of the accused, Satapara used to work in Surendranagar earlier, and he had allegedly done the recce of the angadia firm and had plotted the loot plan.
