Cops to rope in IT experts as ‘Cyber Prahari’

Nagpur: City police have started a scheme to rope in IT expert watchdogs as ‘Cyber Prahari’ to help the law enforcers in solving cases.
The sleuths of the cyber cell would also have a special social media group of volunteers. The decision to form the group of volunteers was taken after a one-day session ‘Cyber crime prevention and measures’ organized held on Saturday on the instructions of city police chief BK Upadhyay. The discussion was chaired under additional CP, crime, Nilesh Bharne. Cyber cell officers, APIs Vishal Mane and Ashwini Jagtap and others also participated in the discussions.
