Institution files complaint against unknown person, Hadapsar police are investigating the case
Noble Hospital in Hadapsar has received bomb threats from an unknown email id which demanded that that they pay a sum of Rs 10 lakh to escape damage.
As a result, the management has decided to beef up security in and around the campus.
The hospital received three emails with the bomb threat before finally deciding to approach the police on Saturday.
One of the emails reads, "You have to pay Rs 10 Lakh to me. If you are ready to pay then reply as yes. If you don't agree to pay me then I will tell what will happen to the hospital. I will plant a 500gm bomb in your hospital which will not kill any person but no patient will get admitted in the hospital after. Think how much money you will lose and if you don't pay."
The email further advised the hospital to refrain from contacting police or media; otherwise the hospital will face an adverse action.
