HYDERABAD: After a recent analysis revealed 21 persons were killed due to over speeding, the city
traffic police acquired six high-end
speed guns to add to the five existing ones.
Police said the high-end laser speed guns are also capable of generating an e-challan on the spot. “We are going to use these speed guns in black spots or places that have wide roads to keep a check on people who are over speeding,” said additional commissioner (traffic) Anil Kumar.
