The voting for the Delhi Assembly elections 2020 is scheduled on Saturday before all political parties voting, the three major parties, BJP, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have made all efforts to woo the voters. Voting for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will be held today (February 8), with the results expected on February 11.

New Delhi comes first among the most VIP seats of Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party Chief and CM of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal is in the fray. Arvind Kejriwal won the New Delhi seat in the 2013 and 2015 Delhi Assembly elections. Having said that, if CM Kejriwal wins this seat for the third time, then he will break the record of Sheila Dixit.

Aam Aadmi Party leader from Delhi's Patparganj seat and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia are in the fray for the third time in a row, they have won the Patparganj assembly seat twice, BJP and Congress fielded their new candidate in front of them this time.

On the Kalkaji seat, Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Atishi by cutting the ticket of sitting MLA Avtar Singh, Atishi had contested the 2019 Lok Sabha election from East Delhi Lok Sabha seat, the party has now fielded him from Kalkaji seat, BJP Has made Dharambir Singh its candidate on this seat.

The BJP has fielded sitting MLA Vijender Gupta once again from the Rohini assembly seat, while Rajesh Nama Bansiwala has been given a ticket on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party.

From Rajendra Nagar seat, Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Raghav Chadha in place of Vijender Garg, who has contested this seat twice, while BJP has re-nominated him, relying on former MLA RP Singh.
