The official Twitter handle of the BJP's Karnataka unit took a dig at Muslim women, who appeared to be standing in a queue outside a polling booth. BJP Karnataka shared a video of Muslim women voters in burqas standing in a polling booth queue to cast their vote in Delhi. The caption to the video sarcastically read, 'Kaagaz Nahi Dikayenge Hum'!!! Keep the documents safe, you will need to show them again during #NPR exercise. #DelhiPolls2020". 'Kagaz Nahin Dikhaenge' slogan popularly raised by protesters and activists opposed to the recently passed Citizenship (Amendment) Act. The caption is a reference to that slogan.
