Andhra Pradesh: 18 IPS officers promoted

VIJAYAWADA: As many as 18 IPS officers were promoted on Saturday. This include two IG- rank officials to ADG, four DIGs to IG, 11 SP rank officials to DIG rank and one SP rank official was promoted to selection grade.
While Atul Singh and R K Meena from 1995 IPS batch have been promoted as ADGs, Ch Srikanth, A S Khan, J Prabhakar Rao and D Nagendra Kumar from 2002 batch were promoted to IG rank.
The 2006 batch IPS officers Kolli Raghuram Reddy, Ake Ravi Krishna, Sarvashresth Tripathi, R Jayalakshmi, G V G Ashok Kumar, G Vijay Kumar, S Hari Krishna, M Ravi Prakash, S V Rajasekhar Babu, K V Mohan Rao and P H D Ramakrishna have been promoted to DIG rank. B Raja Kumari presently working as Vizianagaram SP has been empanelled and promoted to selection grade. tnn
