Teen boy, girl end lives on railway tracks in Gujarat

VADODARA: Two teenagers ended their lives by throwing themselves in front of a train near Dahod on Saturday afternoon. It is believed that the two were in a relationship.
The 18-year-old boy Aman Sansi and 17-year-old girl Sonia Mahavar were found dead on the railway tracks near Jekot on the up line. Officials of the Government Railway Police (GRP) rushed to the spot on being informed about the bodies.
Parents of the deceased duo were informed about the incident.
It is believed that the boy and the girl were in love and took the extreme step due to opposition to the relationship.
GRP personnel handed over the bodies to the Dahod taluka police that sent them for an autopsy. Investigations were started by taluka police after registering the incident as an unnatural death.
