Jaanu full movie leaked online by Tamilrockers

Jaanu, the official Telugu remake of Tamil film 96, has fallen prey to piracy website Tamilrockers. The film hit screens on February 7.

Directed by Prem Kumar, the film stars Samantha Akkineni and Sharwanand in the lead roles.

The original technical crew of 96 has been retained for this film. Singer Chinmayi, who dubbed for Trisha, is doing the same for Samantha Akkineni. Composer Govind Vasantha has not changed his soul-soothing tunes including “Kaathalae Kaathalae”. And Gouri G Kishan will be reprising the role of the young Jaanu.

The film, despite being a faithful remake, has received positive response from the audience.

Indianexpress.com's Manoj Kumar R gave Jaanu a rating of 3 stars in his review.

In his review, Manoj wrote, “Jaanu did not pull me in by surprise like the original Tamil movie. It felt like I was sitting in a revision class. But, I am thankful that the remake did not dishonour the memory of 96.”
