Cape Town - The Absa Premiership clash between Bidvest Wits and Black Leopards was abandoned due to lightning at Bidvest Stadium on Thursday evening.

The match commissioner initially delayed the scheduled 19:30 kick-off and made the decision to call the game off by 20:00, saying that the players' safety was the most important thing.

The PSL will again have to find a new date for the fixture as it was a rescheduled fixture initially.
