The union territory of Puducherry is having a total voters strength of 9,75,814 as on date when the final list of voters was published after the  summary revision of the voters list with January 1, 2020, as the qualifying date.

Chief Electoral Officer Shurbir Singh in a release on Thursday said that women outnumbered men with a strength of 5,16,306 as against the 4,59,409 males. There are 99 transgenders also.
