Rather than completely redesigning the Tacoma, Tundra and Four Runner, Toyota is introducing yet another special edition version of each.
Yay.
The new Trail models are all about style and versatility.
Based on the lower end SR5 trim levels, each can be had with either real or four-wheel drive.
Trail versions of the Toyota Tacoma, Tundra and 400 will be offered in four different colors.
There's midnight black, super white cement and army green.
Now these vehicles are also dressed up with black exterior badging and inside their black seating surfaces with tan contrast stitching.
Plus there are all weather floor mats.
That Tacoma trail rolls on 18 inch off road wheels treated to a dark gray finish.
Kevlar reinforced all terrain tires should ensure ample traction, up front there's a grill borrowed from the Tacoma limited model, while at its business and you'll find a 115 volt power outlet plus a lockable storage bin that doubled as a cooler Like it's smaller sibling the full sized Toyota Tundra has special wheels and features and in bed storage cabby the Trail model comes with [INAUDIBLE] body, front bucket seats, a larger fuel tank and more.
Finally, there's the 4 Runner trail not surprisingly, it's fitted with TR off road wheels, but it's also crowned by a roof top cargo basket, A Yakima Load Warrior.
For those of you who enjoy frosty cold refreshments, or just want to keep your lunch meat at a safe temperature when camping, a 40 quart cooler is included.
This plastic tub was custom made for Toyota and should be able to keep ice for an entire week.
Making things easier to access, this four runner is also fitted with a sliding cargo tray.
Trail versions of the Toyota Tacoma Tundra and 4Runner are slated to go on sale this summer though of course pricing information has not been released, though I can tell you this production is going to be limited.
They're only making 7000 copies of the Tacoma 5000 of the Tundra and just 4000 of those 4Runners
