Burnt body found

Ghaziabad: The burnt body of a 30-year-old man was found in Niwari, close to Modinagar-Niwari road, on Thursday.
Police said initial probe has revealed that the man was beaten to death with a stick and later, the body was set on fire.
Neeraj Kumar Jadaun, SP rural, told TOI that around 9 am, police got information from a local farmer that a burnt body had been spotted. “It has been sent for an autopsy. Half of the body has been burnt,” Jadaun said.
Dharmendra Singh, the SHO, Niwari police station, said: “The police officers are trying to collect information about the deceased and the accused. They are taking help from the dog squad and the forensic team .”
