A pensioner has been charged with the murder of his 82-year-old wife after she was found dead at their detached home.
Pargan Singh Bhandal, 82, is accused of killing his elderly wife Gian at the couple's five-bedroomed house on Trehernes Drive, in Pedmore, Stourbridge, West Midlands.
Emergency services were called to the leafy cul-de-sac, where property prices average half a million pounds, and found Mrs Bhandal with fatal injuries on January 23.

Detectives originally treated her death as unexplained but later launched a murder probe and arrested Mrs Bhandal's husband on Wednesday.
On Friday, West Midlands Police revealed the pensioner had been charged with murder and will appear at Leamington Justice Centre Friday morning.
A force spokesperson added: 'Mrs Bhandal's relatives are being supported by a specialist police family liaison officer at this tragic time.'
Neighbours said the Bhandal family own a string of dental surgeries across the West Midlands.
One local resident, who did not wish to be named, said: 'Its so sad, they seemed a nice family. Their children run dental surgeries around here and are very successful.

'Nothing like this has ever happened around here. Its a quiet, close-knit community. Nobody suspected anything suspicious when she died, so we are all in shock.'
Another neighbour, who wished to remain anonymous, said: 'I knew that she had died.
'My neighbours said they saw a couple of ambulances and a black van - a body van - going up the road.
'A police officer came round last night and said they had a report of something.'
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: 'We were called to reports of a cardiac arrest at a residential property in Trehernes Drive, Pedmore at 11:13 a.m. on January 23.
'Two ambulances were sent to the scene but sadly nothing could be done to save a woman and she was confirmed deceased on scene.'
