Thane: Mobile snatcher caught by RPF in Mumbra

MUMBAI: A woman commuter suffered minor injuries while trying to fend off a theft bid outside Mumbra railway station on Tuesday evening.
RPF sub-inspector A K Yadav said the victim was waiting for an auto outside the station when S S R Kaji (26) attacked her and snatched her mobile before fleeing. In her attempt to resist the robbery, the woman suffered scratches on her wrists.
Kaji was caught by RPF constables Vivek Katiyar, Kamlesh Thakur and M S F Ravi Jadhav, who were already on his trail as they had found his movements suspicious. The suspect was taken to the chowky. Two phones were recovered from Kaji.
