MUMBAI: A compressor exploded in a banquet hall in Bhayander early morning on Thursday.
While no injuries were reported in the explosion at around 1.30am in the Maxus Mall banquet, glass window panes of residential buildings in the neighbourhood were shattered.
The Mira Bhayander municipal corporation (MBMC) fire brigade personnel reached the spot to find the banquet hall badly damaged.
The explosion led to panic in the locality. The cause of the explosion is being ascertained.
