On Wednesday's episode of Married At First Sight, Vanessa panicked before meeting her 'husband', Chris Nicholls.
She had a crisis of confidence and feared that he would reject her for having scars.
'I want someone who is proud to stand next to me. I want someone to love me for all my imperfections,' she said.

Earlier in the episode, Vanessa confessed that her battle with severe acne had negatively affected her love life.
She even admitted to being so self-conscious about her acne scars that she avoids going on 'day dates'.
'I think I'm probably most attractive at night, when the lighting is dim,' she said.

'[Acne] damaged my confidence a lot,' she added. 'I don't think anybody would truly be satisfied with this. I've always felt like I was going to be left on the shelf.'
Vanessa was visibly shaking before walking down the aisle, and became so overwhelmed that she fell to the ground in tears.
While she doubted if Chris was attracted to her, the father-of-two told his family and groomsmen that he was more than happy with his bride.
