Leopard injured in infighting

Vadodara: A leopard was found injured at the Karoli village in Kalol taluka of Panchmahal district on Thursday. It was rescued and sent to the rescue centre near Halol for treatment. The leopard is believed to have been injured in infighting with another male.
Villagers in Karoli panicked after seeing the leopard sitting in a farm on the outskirts of the village. Forest as well as police officials were immediately informed. Sources said that the injured leopard was slow and did not create any trouble in the village.
Forest officials took about two hours to capture the injured animal using a net before sending it to the rescue centre for treatment.
