ALLAHABAD: Four members of a family, including a woman and her three children, were found dead under mysterious circumstances at their home in Suman Daudpur village of Allahabad district.
IG Allahabad range, KP Singh told TOI that initial investigation revealed that it was a case of suicide as there were no injuries mark on bodies. He further added that one room house of the victim was locked from inside.
The bodies of woman and her three children were lying on separate cots. Bodies have been sent to post-mortem.
The police have been talking to neighbours to find out possible reasons that led to the incident. The incident came to light when none of the family members came out of their house and locals informed the police.
A neighbour told police that they did not receive any response after making many calls and called up police on being suspicious over the fate of family members.
