Rajasthan Royals (RR) have expressed their hopes of seeing England pacer Jofra Archer back in action during the 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
On Thursday, the England Cricket Board (ECB) also confirmed that Archer has been diagnosed with a stress fracture of his elbow and ruled him out of England's upcoming Test tour of Sri Lanka and being fit for the IPL as well.
However, the Rajasthan-franchise took to Twitter to expressed their thoughts on the loss and claimed that they are still hopeful to see Jofra don the Royals jersey this year.
The 24-year-old is now set to undergo an injury rehabilitation program with the ECB medical team.
"We're working with the ECB to help @JofraArcher secure a speedy recovery, and still hope to see him in a Royals jersey this season. #RoyalsFamily," Royals posted on Twitter.

“Archer underwent further scans on his injured right elbow yesterday in the UK which confirmed a low grade stress fracture,” a statement released by ECB confirmed.
Jofra is set to be fit again for England's three-match Test series encounter against West Indies in June later this year.
He missed the final three Test matches of England’s 3-1 series win over the Proteas as he flew back from South Africa earlier to start working on his fitness.
