The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza was one of the first adopters of the sub-compact SUV form factor. The car managed to get Maruti the necessary numbers in the SUV segment. Since the launch of Brezza in 2016, the car was only sold with a diesel variant. The growing emission standards and push towards cleaner fuels has forced Maruti Suzuki to bring a BS VI compliant petrol variant of the car.
