This week, all everyone is talking about is Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra’s wedding. Just four days ago, the newly-weds hosted two pre-wedding celebrations that were attended by their nearest and dearest, which were followed by their formal wedding ceremony and a post-wedding sangeet, which took place last night at The St Regis Mumbai. There to congratulate the couple were some of Bollywood's most loved celebrities, who also took the stage for some unmissable dance performances. Along with close family members including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, Anissa Malhotra and Armaan Jain's post-wedding bash was also attended by friends from the Indian film industry. On the guest list were Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan, Alia Bhatt, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Athiya Shetty, Kiara Advani and Rani Mukerji. Joining them were Nita and Mukesh Ambani, who were accompanied by Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, Akash Ambani and wife Shloka Ambani, and Isha Ambani as well.

For last night's sangeet, Armaan Jain's cousins Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan made sure to take the stage for a special performance they put together in honour of the newlywed couple. Joined by Karan Johar, Kareena brought back her Poo avatar from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), dancing to one of her most-loved hits, ‘Bole Chudiyan’. Karisma wasn't far behind—she did a solo performance on the famous track 'Le Gayi' from her cult-status movie Dil To Pagal Hai, before the sisters burst into a performance on 'Tareefan' from Veere Di Wedding.

Did you miss Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's dramatic on-stage performance?

It wasn’t long before Shah Rukh Khan (wearing a fake moustache) also shook a leg on stage. The actor danced to ‘Kajra Re’ from Bunty Aur Babli with wife Gauri Khan in front of the cheering crowd, and the duo's performance was followed by dances by brother-of-the-groom Aadar Jain, Tara Sutaria and Kiara Advani. As the evening progressed, Armaan and Anissa were also seen dancing to live music by Gurdeep Mehndi.

For their big night, Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra went with coordinated ensembles. While the groom greeted guests in a black sherwani with silver piping, the bride opted for a heavily embellished silver lehenga, which she topped off with a choker and matching earrings along with a sparkling tiara and red choodas.

As anticipated, Armaan Jain and Anissa Malhotra's sangeet saw guests dressed in some unmissable festive ensembles. While Karisma Kapoor twinned with Samaira Kapur in head-to-toe white, Kiara Advani opted for a shimmering maroon Manish Malhotra lehenga, and Alia Bhatt walked in with Neetu Singh and Ranbir Kapoor in an pistachio and pink look. Statement saris seemed to be a winning choice for the evening too. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja attended dressed in a delicate Good Earth Couture drape, Amrita Arora Ladak went with a sequinned pink version of the six yard staple, and Malaika Arora went the sultry route in a scarlet Amit Aggarwal number. And then there were Rani Mukerji and Isha Ambani, both of whom attended in elegant Sabyasachi saris.
