NOIDA: A 25-year-old HIV positive woman, who was mentally upset, died at a government-run shelter home late on Monday.
While police said that the woman allegedly fell unconscious on the terrace of the three-storey building, Nari Niketan officials said, the woman fell unconscious on the ground floor of the building.
According to the police, the woman was sent to the facility around two months ago when she was found in a disheveled condition near Sector 24.
The body was sent for an autopsy on Tuesday morning and the report revealed that there were no injuries on her body, said the station officer (SO) of Sector 24 Ramphal Singh.
“The doctors have preserved the viscera for examining the exact cause of death since the cause of death is uncertain,” said the officer.
