MG Motor India Showcases RC-6 Sedan At Auto Expo 2020

• The MG RC-6 is a premium executive sedan equivalent to the Skoda Octavia and Honda Civic.
• It gets connected car technology and driver assistance systems.
• The China-spec model comes with a 147PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine only.
• If launched, we expect prices to start from Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom).

MG Motor India has showcased the RC-6 sedan at Auto Expo 2020. The RC-6 is equivalent to the Skoda Octavia and Honda Civic. The British automotive marque could launch the premium sedan in 2021. Let’s read more about the RC-6, shall we?

In terms of styling, the large single-piece grille merging onto the headlamps looks familiarly MG. Round fog lamps and slim air dams top the look at the front. In profile, the RC-6’s bonnet and its fastback silhouette look sporty. Further, a sharp shoulder line cuts through the profile adding character. At the rear, the RC-6’s tail lamp design layout is similar to the recently launched ZS EV. 

Inside, the RC-6’s dashboard takes design cues from luxury cars. For instance, the connected infotainment screen and digital instrument panel look eerily similar to the E-Class while the AC vents running through the width of the dashboard is a lift from the Q7.
