But it appears as though Tash Herz and Amanda Micallef's wedding bliss was short-lived, crushing their hopes for true love. 

Tash, 31, and Amanda, 34, sported matching glum expressions as they were seen talking on their honeymoon night.

The MAFS production team appeared to have a lot of input in the conversation, and the brides seemingly shared a sorrowful hug at the end of the night. 

Amanda appeared to stand up, possibly to leave after their heartfelt conversation.

Earlier in the night,  Amanda appeared apprehensive but excited as a staff member instructed them to sit down. 

They wandered around a restaurant area, with both women looking a little more at ease, but their happiness clearly didn't last for long.  

Tash cut a sultry figure in denim cut-offs, flaunting a hint of her pert derriere and bold matching panther thigh tattoos.

Meanwhile, Amanda showed off her muscular physique in distressed denim shorts, a white T-shirt and dark blue denim jacket. 

She pulled her damp brunette locks into a tight, high bun.

The pair confirmed that they didn't consummate their steamy romance - much to Amanda's disappointment.

When asked by producers if she got 'hot and heavy' with her tattooed bride Tash, Amanda said: 'Unfortunately, there was no sex last night.

'I mean, obviously we're not rushing into that just yet. When the time comes, the time will come.'

The personal trainer then made a raunchy joke about breaking the bed with her intense lovemaking.

While Amanda was all in, Tash woke up with some second thoughts about her whirlwind marriage.

'We've connected so strong, so quickly. I feel comfortable, I can feel a super sense of warmth from her,' Tash said on Tuesday's episode

On Tuesday night's episode, the brides said 'I do' at Rippon Lea Estate in Melbourne, the sexual tension between them was palpable.

They couldn't keep their hands off each other while passionately kissing at the altar.

Amanda won Tash over with her heartfelt vows, saying: 'As gay women, we've likely fought just that bit harder than most to be here, and had to act in spite of fear. Thank you for having the courage and taking a chance at blind faith.

Once in their hotel suite, Amanda gave her wife a back massage in bed.

The episode ended with the lovebirds kissing each other under the sheets.
