Mahindra and Mahindra, one of the earliest makers of electric vehicles in India launched
eKUV100 aimed at the taxi segment at a price of Rs 8.25 lakh after subsidies. The company also showcased the eXUV300 aimed at personal buyers.

eKUV is the ideal vehicle for shared mobility," said
Pawan Goenka, managing director of Mahindra and Mahindra.
The Rs 8.25 lakh price tag is after accounting for government subsidies for shared electric vehicles.
The car will have a range of 147 kilometres per single charge. The battery on the vehicle could be charged up to 80 per cent within an hour with fast charging, the company said.
The company said that eKUV100 will have connected features like remote diagnostics, cabin pre-cooling and location tracking.
The company also launched its BS-VI range of petrol engines with the m-Stallion moniker. The engines will come in three displacements, 1.2 litre, 1.5 litre ans 2.0 litre. The m-Hawk range of diesel engines will be upgraded for the BS-VI emission norms, Mahindra said.
