CHANDIGARH: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Tuesday decided to complete its organisational structure within a month.
It also finalised the schedule for its protests in 15 districts against the Congress government in the state, whose policies it described as anti-people. The decision was taken during a meeting of SAD legislators, district presidents and senior functionaries, which was presided over by SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal.
Sukhbir criticised the Punjab government.
SAD senior vice-president Daljit Singh Cheema said it was decided that party delegates would start the process of electing circle and district bodies and finish the process within a month. He said 'Rosh Dharna' movement against the Congress in the remaining 15 districts would start on February 13 from Amritsar and would culminate on April 11 in Mohali.
