These photos show the facial wounds - and apparent exhaustion - suffered by hardworking Chinese medical teams in the coronavirus-hit city of Wuhan.
The images were widely shared on social networks and highlight the sacrifices the doctors and nurses are making to care for their sick patients.
Local media said that medical staff members based in Wuhan in the eastern Chinese province of Hubei are currently on their feet nonstop.
Many workers are said to be so exhausted that they often finish the day sleeping on hospital chairs and floors before starting another shift.

In the photos, young male and female workers, some of them evidently exhausted, are seen with deep dents in their skin where the tightly fastened masks have caused sores and other minor injuries.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in China totaled over 20,000. This includes a one-month-old tot in the south-western province of Guizhou.
The worldwide death toll of the virus climbed to 492 on Wednesday, with 490 lives claimed in China.
Close to 60 million people remain under lockdown in the country, with three Chinese cities reporting over a thousand confirmed cases.
