
Xiaomi Poco X2 Price in India, Specifications, Features Launch Live Updates: Poco has unveiled the Poco X2 smartphone today in India. It says that the phone is not the successor to the Poco F1 and it is the first phone in its new X-series.
The Poco X2 has turned out to be the re-branded version of the Redmi K30 4G that was launched in China last year. The phone features Snapdragon 730G processor, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, 120Hz 6.67-inch FHD+ display, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, 4500mAh battery with 27W fast charging support, 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP quad rear camera setup, and 20MP+2MP dual front-facing cameras.
The Poco X2 starts at Rs 15,999 for the base model of 6GB RAM + 64GB storage– similar to the Redmi K30’s China pricing of Yuan 1,599 that converts to around Rs 15,999. The 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM model of the Poco X2 is priced at Rs 16,999 and the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM model is priced at Rs 19,999.

The bank offers include Rs 1,000 instant bank discount on using ICICI Bank Credit Card to bring down the starting price down to Rs 14,999. It will be available on Flipkart starting February 11 at 12 noon.
The Poco X2 starts at Rs 15,999 for the base model of 6GB RAM + 64GB storage. The 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM model is priced at Rs 16,999 and the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM model is priced at Rs 19,999.
The Poco X2 has a 6.67-inch screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the top and bottom. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Poco X2 also comes with IR blaster, P2i splash-proof technology, out of the box Voice over WiFi support. The Poco X2 comes in three colour variants-- Atlantis Blue, Matrix Purple, and Phoenix Red.
The Poco X2 features the 64MP Sony IMX686 primary camera at the back. The quad-rear camera setup features an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the Poco X2 packs a 20MP 2MP dual front facing cameras.
The Sony IMX686 sensor has an f/1.89 aperture and 1.6-micron size with 4-in-1 pixel binning. Poco X2 also comes with RAW Image Capture feature, 960FPS slow-mo capture, as well as a VLOG mode.
Poco X2 comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
The Poco X2 is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with support for 27W fast charger. The fast charger comes in the box.
Poco X2 comes with Snapdragon 730G processor paired with Adreno 618 GPU. The SD730G scores 274334 on AnTuTu as opposed to 258734 score of SD730. Poco says that its AnTuTu score is much higher than the 266583 scores of Realme X2. Poco shows more GPU score for Poco X2 compared to the Realme X2. The company says that they score higher on the benchmark because of better hardware support (including the Liquid Cooling Technology) and better software optimization.
Poco X2 comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio screen that brings out a cinematic experience while playing games. The screen of the Poco X2 supports 120Hz refresh rate and that is why "Poco X2 is Smooth AF" where the AF stands for "And Fast".

If Poco X2 turns out to be the rebranded Redmi K30 4G, it will have the same specifications as the latter. We can expect the Poco X2 to be powered by the Snapdragon 730G processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The phone could sport a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate.
The Poco X2 could run MIUI 11 based on Android 10 out of the box and draw power from a 4,500mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4. The phone could also sport a 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP quad-rear camera setup and a 20MP+2MP dual front-facing cameras placed in a punch-hole display just like the Redmi K30 4G.
If the Poco X2 turns out to be re-branded Redmi K30 with same specifications, there's a chance that it will be priced near the China pricing of the Redmi K30 4G. The device is priced at Yuan 1599 for the base model of 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is around Rs 16,000 on conversion. So, there's a good chance that the Poco X2 will be priced under Rs 20,000 in India.
Other variants of Redmi K30 4G in China include 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model priced at CNY 1,699 (Rs 17,000), 8GB RAM + 128GB storage at Yuan 1,899 (Rs 19,000), and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model at Yuan 2,199 (Rs 22,000).
There has also been an “unofficial” poster of the Poco X2 doing rounds on the internet that shows the Poco X2 looking exactly like the Redmi K30. Going by the leaks, there’s a good chance that the Poco X2 will indeed look like the Redmi K30 and have the same specifications as the latter.
There are plenty of leaks that suggest that the Poco X2 might actually be a re-branded Redmi K30 4G, which was launched last year in China. The listing of Poco X2 on India’s BIS certification website shows that the new Poco phone has the same model number as the Redmi K30 4G. The same information was also revealed in an earlier leak. Additionally, the teaser video posted by Poco on its official Twitter handle also hints that the Redmi K30 4G will make its way to India under the guise of Poco branding.
