Mumbai: Fire breaks out at chemical factory in Boisar, no casualty

Thick smoke could be seen billowing out of the factory.
MUMBAI: A fire broke out at a chemical factory in Boisar MIDC on Tuesday evening. No casualty has been reported so far.
The fire erupted at the Harshal Chemicals located on plot T 101 in the Boisar MIDC area at around 5.30pm.
Two fire engines, a foam tender and a water tanker are rushed to the spot. Thick black smoke was seen emanating from the factory. Firefighting operations are underway to douse the flames.
Unconfirmed sources said that a few minor injuries cannot be ruled out.
