UMD track standout Cameron Rodgers named Rookie of the Week

DARTMOUTH — Durfee graduate Cameron Rodgers, a freshman track and field standout at UMass Dartmouth, has been named the Little East Conference field events Rookie of the Week for the third time this indoor season.

A two-event (400 hurdles, high jump) high school nationals competitor last June, Rodgers earned his latest LEC rookie honor for his performance atTufts Branwen Smith-King Invitational where he was seventh in the high jump (6 feet, 2.5 inches) and third in the 60-merter hurdles (8.72).
