Central team inspects airport

Coimbatore: A central government team has arrived to inspect coronavirus prevention and detection systems in place in the district. Three senior officials landed in the city on Tuesday and a fourth official is expected to arrive on Wednesday.
The team consisting of regional director of ministry of health and family welfare Dr Roshini Arthur, Tushar Nala and Monica Matlani inspected the airport and 108 ambulance arrangements in the district. “
In the airport, they checked our handing over of self declaration forms for international arrivals, hand sanitizers in immigration desks, flights announcing passengers with flu symptoms to get checked,” said Dr Ramesh, deputy director of public health.TNN
