NAGPUR: Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) declared results for
CA Foundation exam on Monday and as per the latest information provided by some local coaching institutes, the
Nagpur chapter of ICAI has at least nine students in the top 50 list.
Since no official merit list is declared, the top three spots keep changing as per information coming in from local coaching institutes. Though TOI on Tuesday wrote about Tanvi Agrawal (AIR 25), who still continues to hold on to the top position in the Nagpur chapter, there are changes to the number two and three slots. Saachi
Jaipuriya (AIR 30) and Akshat Agrawal (AIR 38) now join Tanvi to make the top three.
Speaking to TOI, Jaipuriya said “I was consistent at my studies and revised all the concepts on a regular basis. I tried my best to not get distracted while studying. I practiced the habit of not checking my phone and tried to stay away from social media.” Akshat Agrawal said “Time management is an essential factor that helped me prepare for my exams. Besides, I kept revising the notes on a regular basis and solved the mock test papers from the official cite. ICI Module helped me in preparation for the exams. Accounts and economics were a bit difficult whereas subjects like maths and law were easy to solve.” Saachi and Akshat’s guide from VPA institute, CA Vipul Vora said, “Question papers were above average but students with conceptual clarity could easily crack the examination.”
The next Chartered AccountantsFoundation Course exam will be held in the month of May. Candidates are advised to check dates depending on the format (new or old syllabus) they are appearing for.
