For the fifth year, DEN partnered with Dumb Friends League to showcase their program and show off adoptable puppies. The lively bunch went nose to nose as they played, napped and snuggled. Members of the Canine Airport Therapy Squad (CATS) “ruffereed” the game.
“The DEN Puppy Bowl is my favorite event of the year, and I know I’m not alone in that sentiment,” said DEN CEO Kim Day, “The event is an all-around win-win as passengers get an experience they’ll never forget, and the Dumb Friends League puppies get to play together while meeting their future adoptive parents.”
Pets featured at the DEN Puppy Bowl will be available for adoption tomorrow or later, depending on their age, at the Dumb Friends League Leslie A. Malone Center in Denver on a first-come, first-serve basis.
“There are wonderful pets waiting for new homes at our shelter and at shelters across the country,” said Dumb Friends League President and CEO Dr. Apryl Steele. “The DEN Puppy Bowl is a great opportunity to promote the adoption option for people considering adding a pet to their families and raise awareness about the League.”
