Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has described the second budget of the second term of the Narendra Modi government as extremely pessimistic for the youth, women, farmers, and businessmen.
He said about the Union Budget presented on February 1 that the entire focus is on benefiting some big industrial houses. An example of this is to reduce the corporate tax from 22 percent to 15 percent for new industries, which will cause a loss of millions of crores of rupees to the central government.
He even went on to say that one by one, claiming that 'the country will not bow down, the country will not sell', is busy selling all the big government undertakings of the country. After Air India, the Central Government has now announced the sale of institutions like LIC, IDBI and privatization of Indian Railways in the budget. He said that the amount received by the Center to Rajasthan has been reduced by more than twenty thousand crores.
