WeWork Appoints Sandeep Mathrani As New CEO

Sandeep Mathrani succeeds Artie Minson and Sebastian Gunningham, and officially he would take over from 8th Feb’ 2020 onwards.

WeWork has appointed Sandeep Mathrani as Chief Executive Officer. This is the result as co-founder and CEO Adam Neumann stepped down in September. Previously Mathrani was serving as CEO of Brookfield Properties’ retail group.

Sandeep Mathrani succeeds Artie Minson and Sebastian Gunningham, and officially he would take over from18th Feb’ 2020 onwards. Co-CEOs Artie Minson and Sebastian Gunningham, who helped stabilize WeWork over the past few months. Minson and Gunningham will remain with the company through a particular transition period.

WeWork said it has outlined a five-year strategic plan, built around six pillars, that guides a growth-led transformation plan.

WeWork said it has “made important changes to its operating model and organization structure with a clear governance structure to enable the proper execution of our plan with proper accountability throughout the organization."

Sandeep Mathrani in his new role is all set to turn the tables for the embattled start-up at WeWorks.
