Bayside Media Private Limited has raised Pre-Series A round from Equanimity Ventures Fund for its flagship management training program SEAL Professional. The funds will be used to support program development and marketing. The new investment round will enable Bayside to further capitalize on its position as a leader in the undergraduate management training space in India.
Founder & CEO of Bayside, Shyaam Santhakumar said, “The college-to-corporate journey is one of the most important ones in an individual’s life. The fact that you have a degree doesn’t mean you are employable. We provide an environment where SEAL graduates are able to have a leg-up over other graduates entering the workforce.”
SEAL Professional founded in 2016 and has made great strides in generating entrepreneurial abilities in students. The company trains undergraduate students in management and leadership skills, and helps them with internships and first placements. Over 1,800 have been placed across companies including Flipkart, Aditya Birla, Zara, Calvin Klein and 400 more.
