Breakfast at Tiffany’s fans, here’s everything you need to know about the iconic jewellers coming to India
From iconic Hollywood films to the red carpet and even celebrity weddings, Tiffany & Co. has been a part of it all in their almost two-century-long history. Founded in New York in 1837, the brand has defined solitaire engagement rings as we know them today. Their streamlined designs—clover, heart and lock and key motifs—are easily recognisable and favoured by both celebrities and fans all around the world. Among its many collaborations, the house co-hosts the annual BAFTAs after-party with British Vogue. The 2020 edition saw a number of stars who often don Tiffany & Co. jewels in attendance, including Charlize Theron, Irina Shayk and Victoria Beckham.
The American jeweller took its first steps in India with a touchdown in the capital. On January 25, 2020, Tiffany & Co. unveiled an expansive store at New Delhi’s Chanakya mall. A striking façade in the trademark blue leads you into the space, which features an open-plan layout exhibiting the brand’s signature collections including Tiffany T, Tiffany HardWear, Tiffany True and their Home & Accessories collection. For the ultimate jewellery shopping experience, the store also houses a luxurious private salon for scheduled appointments.
With a storied history of over 180 years, the jewellery house reinvents its iconic designs for cult collectors and the millennial shopper. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, Tiffany & Co. couldn’t have chosen a better time to bring their modern-age offerings to India. The collection, Tiffany T, reimagines the letter ‘T’ in hinged cuffs, minimal bracelets, chains of varied lengths and pendants, minimal rings and earrings. Another reason to be excited about is the brand’s to-be-launched Tiffany T1 collection? An ultra-modern version of the initials with bevelled edges and encrusted sparkle.
All the pieces will be unveiled in April 2020, and will be available at the all-new store in New Delhi. Scroll ahead for a glimpse inside.
