FIR against Punjabi singers Sidhu Moosewala and Mankirt Aulakh for promoting violence, gun culture

The Punjab police have booked singers Shubhdeep Singh aka Sidhu Moosewala and Mankirt Aulakh for allegedly promoting violence and gun culture in a song. A case has been registered against the duo under sections 149, 294 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code but no arrests have been made so far. According to the Senior Superintendent of Police (Mansa), preliminary inquiries have revealed that the song 'Panj Golian' was performed somewhere on stage and a video clip of the same surfaced on social media. The FIR was lodged on the complaint of a Chandigarh based lawyer HC Arora.
