Banarasis learnt about gharanas of kathak at this do

A ladies' club recently hosted a unique theme of Gharana: Ek Virasat about the various kathak gharanas. The new office bearers which included Hima Rastogi, Shweta Agarwal and Jyoti Agarwal welcomed the guests.

For the members it was quite a learning experience to know the nuances of various gharanas of kathak which were gracefully depicted by Sangeeta, Saumya and Preeti in their performances. The guaranas whose dances were performed included the Banaras, Jaipur, Lucknow and Raigarh.
