PATIALA: Rapper Aditya Pratik Singh Sisodia, known as Badshah, had a narrow escape at an under-construction overbridge on an intersection of National Highway 44 near Rajpura on Monday morning as the high-end car he was travelling in crashed into concrete slabs kept along the road by workers of the company that has undertaken the project.
While the car was badly damaged, Badshah wasn’t hurt. The driver could not see the slabs kept on the road due to thick fog. The slabs had been kept near the diversion at the intersection with no safety signs in place. Even as the deadline to complete the four-laning of the Panipat-Jalandhar stretch of the NH-44 ended in March 2011, the project has not been completed at various points along the 291km section. The construction company could not be contacted for comment.
