Degree certificate awarded to CoEP students

A total of 749 students graduated in July 2019 in ten engineering disciplines in the college. Out of the 749 graduating students, 288 students received their degree certificate in person on Saturday.

PUNE: The degree certificate awarding ceremony of the twelveth batch of engineers who passed out in July 2019, after College of Engineering Pune was given autonomy was held on Saturday in the college main auditorium.


A total of 749 students graduated in July 2019 in ten engineering disciplines in the college. Out of the 749 graduating students, 288 students received their degree certificate in person on Saturday.


Naveen Gautam, managing director, HELLA India Automotive Pvt. Ltd., Pune was the chief guest at the function which was also attended by B B Ahuja, Director, COEP and others. Ahuja presented a brief report which showcased some of the major highlights of COEP in the last couple of months.


‘Naveen Gautam, in his ceremonial address, congratulated the graduating students and said that the purpose of education is to be able to apply the same to contribute in the welfare of the society and create opportunities for self as well as for the society. He also shared some of his personal experiences to make the students understand the importance of following one’s passion for a quality life and career. He concluded by advising the students to pursue excellence in academics and career and also be responsible citizens of the society,’ said the official release from CoEP.
