The 2020 Tata Harrier gets an AT, panoramic sunroof and more power.
Tata Motors has launched the 2020 Harrier in India and the SUV comes with some much-needed upgrades. The Tata Harrier now gets a 6-speed automatic transmission which is sourced from Hyundai. Along with that, the 2.0-litre diesel engine has been bumped up to produce 170 HP unlike the previous Harrier which was offered in a lower state of tune.
The Tata Harrier is now BS6 compliant. It also gets few other additions like a panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming IRVM, new ORVMs, 6-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat with adjustable lumbar support, 17-inch dual-tone diamond cut alloys, new Calypso Red colour and ESP standard on all variants.
When the Harrier was launched last year, people liked the car but a lot of customers kept asking for vital features like an AT and a sunroof. With this update, Tata Motors has made the Harrier a complete package. The Harrier AT is available in 3 trims – XMA, XZA and XZA+. The manual variant also gets a new XZ+ trim.
